A historic Grosse Pointe colonial needed more day-to-day living space without compromising the 1920s character. We added a 480 square foot rear addition that houses a new family room and breakfast nook, opening to the existing kitchen through a wide cased opening.
Foundation poured to match the existing footprint, brick hand-matched to the original masonry, and roofline tied in with new framing that reads as original from the curb.
