This Royal Oak bungalow kitchen was closed off, dated, and barely functional. We pulled the load-bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room (with a flush LVL header), added a 9-foot island, and rebuilt the room around how the family actually entertains.
Custom shaker cabinetry in deep navy paired with Calacatta-look quartz and brushed brass hardware. New hardwood flooring runs continuously through the dining room for a unified open-plan feel.
